PRD were asked to revitalise the interior of this well established Opticians - the first step was to open up the lobby to the street by adding a frameless glazed automatic door. For the interior we created glazed openings in the walls to unite the showroom with the lobby. The Victorian building retained many of the original features and character, which PRD combined with modern interventions to create an opulent space, that is a break from the normal 'clinical' Opticians retail space.
